Kristin is a highly skilled counselor, executive function coach, and educational consultant, who loves collaborating with clients as they learn about how their minds work. A careful and discerning listener, Kristin has a natural ability to activate creativity in others and inspire them to develop the skills they need to create change in their lives and find their way in the world. As both a coach and a counselor, Kristin helps clients excel at work, in school, and in their daily lives. As an educational consultant, she collaborates with both schools and families to understand non-normative learners. She loves working with adults, teens, and younger children. She sees clients both online and in the Detroit area office.
Kristin taught French, Spanish, and Creative Writing in middle and high school classrooms for twelve years and has taught at the university level as well. As a teacher, therapist, and parent of a gifted 13-year-old, Kristin has seen the education process from multiple points of view. She has also worked one-on-one with adults, teens, and young children as a tutor, coach, guitar instructor for many years. In addition to her counseling degree, she holds an MA in Film from the University of Michigan. She is also a professional composer, actor, and musical theatre performer, as well as a lover of the outdoors.
